Laura was one of those brides who takes your breath away. Whether you have had the pleasure of chatting with her or not, she radiates the most beautiful bridal glow. And this is only the start of Laura and her many talents.
A London based city lawyer by day and a genius paper flower creator by night... yes you heard me right - paper flowers. When I first met Laura and she told me she was making her wedding flowers, with hindsight I will admit that there was a small feeling of trepidation on my part but I was oh so very wrong!
When Laura came for her first fitting of her Suzanne Neville dress I checked up on the progress of said flowers and I was met by a stealthy glare. 'My hands have been bleeding' I was told. She showed me some images and I instantly knew that visually it was worth every inch of the graft - Laura was creating a couture floral masterpiece.
And of course this post wouldn't be complete without paying a little respect to Laura's wedding dress - the simply divine 'Picasso' by Suzanne Neville. A hand appliqued body with the most whimsical tulle leaf embroidery and signature clean cut sculptural bodice. This was coupled with lustre of a full silk organza skirt which I have on good authority was spinning around the dance floor until the very end!
Wishing Laura and Peter a continued lifetime of happiness together!
p.s Off course these to-die-for flowers will be featuring in the boutique very soon... courtesy of the very talented Mrs Metcalfe!
