A small departure today from our usual real wedding and upcoming events chatter gorgeous ones…as we introduce you to the ever so fabulous (and frankly bloody beautiful) dresses from Hope and Ivy.
You know when you click on a website to make a “purchase or two” and well basically, you want it ALL. Sound familiar?? Oui?? well, that’s what happens whenever we see the latest offerings from this epic brand.
With perfectly placed, delicate beading, glorious eye catching fabrics and figure hugging patterns that wholeheartedly embrace the feminine form we really cannot shout about Hope and Ivy loud enough!!
Whilst taking in the gorgeous looks of the autumn/winter campaign we are dreaming of the sunshine and reminiscing about wearing our very own fabulous frocks as wedding guests this previous Summer. Pimms in one hand and clutch tucked in the other, they make it seem almost impossible not to exude confidence in an effortless and unflappable manner gals.
Comfortable cuts and lines you’ll truly adore in a soft and delicate palette. Team FDB simply had to have a natter with the founding ladies Sarah and Beth and tell them that our obsession with their dresses is very real.
It came as no surprise that we had plenty to have a good giggle about and it was a delight to hear how Beth and Sarah’s friendship was formed over a mutual love of beautifully crafted dresses, delicate embroidery, rich textures and a shared desire to create amazing, must-have pieces that you can dance ‘til dawn in. With Sarah’s background of designing embroideries and prints for high-profile fashion clients and Beth’s experience of managing and producing fashion brands, they each bring their own unique perspective to Hope & Ivy.
It was our absolute pleasure when they asked if they could do a feature on yours truly, Frances Day Bridal over on their blog pages… click here for a nosey.
Contemporary luxury with price tags that will make you smile for all of the right reasons, we cannot wait to see if any of our brides opt for Hope & Ivy beauties for their maids!!
So who is up for a sartorial splurge?? We cannot wait for Mr Postie to arrive with our divine purchases at Frances Day HQ!!
