Now this is a blog that I have been waiting to write for quite some time... as in like a year. But there is a very good reason for this and after all, good things come to those who wait.

I was approached last summer by Andrew from A Big Neon Glitter Photography and Katy from What Katy Does to ask if I'd be interested in collaborating with them in a photoshoot at the newly restored Hazel Gap Barn. Naturally with these creative talents on board my answer was yes and Andrew had signed up one of his upcoming brides to model - fabulous!

Now this is where the story gets interesting as Melissa our model was also a real life bride-to-be herself and still hadn't found her dress. I am sure she signed up to the photoshoot thinking that it would be great experience in front of the camera in prep for her own wedding day and that never in a million years would she find her dress in the process. Well my friends - guess what?! SHE DID!

Following the photoshoot, Melissa booked an appointment to come and try the Raimon Bundo dress on again (away from all of the photoshoot razzmatazz) with her bride tribe in tow. As soon as the dress was on and before we even made it out of the changing room her eyes lit up and it was the most special moment.

I am a believer in Fate - and I can't help but think that this is an example of it in its purest form.

The problem that this whole scenario presented to me was that as Melissa was now officially one of our FDB brides - there was absolutely no way on gods earth that I could share any of the sensationally gorgeous images from the photo shoot before her wedding day. But, like I said before, they are sooo worth the wait and now you get to see the Photo Shoot pics as well as Melissa and Jakes Wedding Day edits.

What a story that I am sure will not be repeated for a very long time. All thats left for me to say is a huge thank you to our wonderful and breath takingly beautiful model turned real bride Melissa. We wish you and Jake a life time of love and laughter together.
